Christmas is Back at TJ’s! Wine Edition

Christmas is the time to spend with family and friends. So settle down around the fire and grab yourself a warm cup of hot cocoa, or even better, mix yourself up a cocktail with TJ’s premium holiday wine.

As I previously mentioned in the last Christmas post, new items have been rolling out and you don’t want to miss them! There are seasonal wines and beers that you can only get for the holiday season.

Here’s a list of seasonal wines for you to snag this winter.

  1. Gingerbread Cream Liqueur (750 mL) Find price in stores, not offered in every TJ’s

A mix of gingerbread spices and creamy liqueur pairs for a perfect holiday drink. This ginger-infused vodka is strong, and while it can be sipped by itself (it’s not gonna knock you out), I’d recommend mixing it in coffee, or even enjoying a spiked milkshake.

2. L’Èclat Sparkling Blanc de Blancs and Rosé (1.5 L) Find price in stores

A crisp sparkling drink fit for any occasion. Don’t miss out on these bubbly drinks, as they are a limited buy! With two different options, white wine and rosé, these French wines are delicious and a great fit for your next holiday celebration.

3. Platinum Reserve Sonoma County Brut and Rosé (750 mL) $14.99

These are two drinks introduced as a rosé and a classic sparkling champagne. They are listed as a TJ’s reserved wine because they come from one of the top winemakers in the country. The rosé has notes of watermelon and fruity berries, whereas the fruitful notes in the classic sparkling wine taste like pear and apple.

4. Hark and Holly Glühwein (1 L) $6.99

This is a mulled wine that has been selling like crazy at my TJ’s location. Made from a German supplier, this drink is a tasty concoction of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and citrus zest. Pair with cheese and crackers for a well-balanced snack.

5. Trader Joe’s Peppermint Joe-Joe’s Cream Liqueur (750 mL) $8.99

One of two festive liqueurs is the Peppermint Cream filled with sugar, peppermint extract, and a hint of cocoa cream. It tastes like creamy mint cookies and cream wrapped up in a bottle. And who doesn’t love cookies?

6.  Trader Joe’s Cocoa Cream Liqueur (750 mL) $8.99

Cocoa Cream Liqueur with coffee…count me in. This drink, first introduced in 2017 alongside the Peppermint Cream Liqueur, is a great holiday drink to mix with hot cocoa or to make an iced spiked coffee. Enjoy!

7. Trader Joe’s Vintage Ale (750 mL) $5.99

This ale tastes the best when matured over time (months). It’s a Belgian-style ale that undergoes a second fermentation where the yeast eats at the sugar creating more alcohol and bubbles! This is a classic TJ’s holiday must-try.

8. TJ’s Gran Reserva Cabernet from Maule Valley, Chile (750 mL) $12.99

Made in the Maule Valley in Chile, this cabernet has a strong flavor profile from an aging process in French and American oak barrels for over a year. Induldge in this juicy wine, a perfect addition to a grilled steak or meat of choice.
